Firefighters tackle West Dorset barn fire

FIRE crews are to return to a West Dorset barn today after a fire in the early hours of this morning that they believe to be deliberate.
The fire happened at around 12.45am at a barn on Verriott's Lane, Morcombelake, and was extinguished by crews from Charmouth and Bridport.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters removed the contents, a quantity of farm and building equipment, and stayed on scene to dampen down the barn after the fire was put out.
They will return today to carry out an inspection.
