Fishing boat helped ashore in Portland Harbour

A FISHING boat needed assistance when a rope was caught around the propeller.

Portland Coastguards were alerted and a member of the public, who was observing, rowed his dinghy to the boat and helped it shore.

It happened just after 4.30pm yesterday in Portland Harbour.

I hope that they didn't encounter any traffic wardens and paid their parking fees when the boat was helped ashore.
