SWANAGE: Portland Coastguard received an emergency call after four rucksacks were found at the top of a cliff at Durlston Head.
The member of the public who called 999 at 12.48pm on Friday was concerned for the safety of the owners.
Swanage coastguard rescue officers attended the scene and confirmed that the rucksacks belonged to climbers, who were not in any difficulty.
