WEYMOUTH: Two teenage boys were taken to hospital after suffering exhaustion and a twisted leg.
The boys were reported to the coastguard after becoming cold, exhausted and injured while walking from Abbotsbury to Portland on Chesil Beach on Tuesday.
Wyke Regis coastguard officers went to Wyke Bridging Camp and located them while an off duty coastguard, who was fishing nearby, used his boat to transfer the boys across the Fleet.
The boys were then transferred to Weymouth Hospital for a check up.
