JORDAN Rhodes’ superb lob has put Blackburn Rovers back on level terms at half time in this afternoon’s home clash with Crystal Palace.

The visitors had gone ahead in the 28th minute when Stephen Dobbie collected Aaron Wilbraham’s knock-down and sidestepped Grant Hanley with ease before beating Greg Sandomierski.

But Rhodes levelled three minutes before half time as he latched on to Josh King’s lofted pass and superbly lifted the ball over keeper Julian Speroni from a tight angle.

Rhodes had come close to opening the scoring when he fired over left footed after smart play involved David Jones and Lee Williamson.
