Green fingered gardening enthusiasts take note:- 3Zone Neighbourhood Panel supported by Synergy Housing is running a gardens competition this year.
Residents of Littlemoor, Springfield, Upwey and Dorchester are eligible, you do not have to be a Synergy tenant as long as you live in Zone 3.
There will be four categories: Small garden; Large garden; Basket/Container/ Communal spaces.
Judging will take place at the end of July in time for presentation of prizes at this year’s Fantastic Family Fun Day on Saturday 17th August.
There will be an award for the winner and runner up in each category and garden vouchers for the overall winner.

Australian author Isolde Martyn will be at Littlemoor library on May 18th at 2pm to give a talk on The Perils and Pleasures of Writing Historical Fiction.
Award winning Isolde is a lady with a passion for history and her books have won both a RITA award (the romance equivalent of an Oscar) in the USA and the Romantic Novel Of The Year in Australia.
Isolde originally hails from Weymouth and her parents still live here.
Book early for tickets as there will be a great demand. Cost £1.50 and refreshments will be available.

The Littlemoor Community Action Group A.G.M. will be held on Saturday 25th May at the Community Centre, Canberra Road. Doors will open at 7pm for a 7-30 start and refreshments will be provided.
