A BAILIFF is undergoing treatment in hospital after being stabbed in a Cradley Heath estate yesterday (Thursday).
It is believed the brutal attack occurred at Victoria Gardens when the 57-year-old victim was conducting a house possession.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Police were called to Victoria Gardens, Cradley Heath at just after 11.30am yesterday after a man suffered a serious stab wound.
“The 57-year-old bailiff was conducting a house repossession when he was attacked by a man at the address. He was taken to hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.”
The spokesman added: “A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”
