DORCHESTER RFC is holding a recruitment drive in preparation for next season.

The Southern Counties South outfit is looking to appoint a new head coach and is keen to hear from players of all abilities.

Honorary secretary Andrew Smith said: “With the end of last season only just passed, plans at Dorchester RFC are well in advance for next season, which promises to be very exciting with renewed local derbies against Ivel Barbarians and Swanage & Wareham, as well as a number of other games with a strong, local interest.

“Dorchester RFC remains an ambitious club and not only is the club looking to appoint a new head coach but a recruitment drive to attract players of all abilities has been launched to increase the club’s playing base.

“If you are interested in joining Dorchester as a player (new to the game or returning), or are interested in the position of head coach, please contact Martin Bartlett on 07974185734 or email details to enquiries@dorchester-rfc.co.uk.

Pre-season training starts at Coburg Road on Thursday, July 4 at 7pm.
