A plan to build six houses next to an Earby church has been submitted by the Bradford Diocese.
The diocese is seeking outline planning permission to build the semi-detached homes with garages on a plot of land below the former All Saints’ Parish Church vicarage.
The site, which is known locally as Glebe Field, already has planning permission for four detached houses, but attempts to sell the land have failed. The new outline plan would include creating an access onto the A56, which would involve widening the road and putting in a footpath.
