Firefighters called to classic car blaze
5:10pm Wednesday 14th August 2013 in News
FIREFIGHTERS were called after a 1965 Jaguar Mark II caught on fire in a garage in Marsh Road, Weymouth.
A fault in the fuel line during ignition caused the blaze, a Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said.
Two crews from Weymouth were called to the scene at 2.45pm.
Residents were praised for helping to contain the fire before firefighters arrived.
The blaze caused 40 per cent fire damage to the car's engine compartment.
