Earlier heavy traffic around Dorchester has cleared.
The A31 is closed with queuing traffic in both directions between Roundhouse Roundabout in Winterborne Zelston and Red Post crossroads in Anderson, because of an accident.
Mixed fortunes for our local football sides today as Dorchester lost 1-0 at Staines on the opening day of the season while the Terras claimed a 2-0 win at St Neots
Thinking of things to do tomorrow?
Well there's Buckham Fair on all day and there's an RNLI fun day in West Bay.
The weather looks like we will see the sunshine again tomorrow as well and could reach 20 degrees.

Youngsters have been celebrating new play equipment at Maiden Newton play area this morning.
The new additions to the area behind the village hall were made possible after a fundraising effort amassed £15,000.
Committee member Clare May said the new equipment had gone down well with local children.
She said: "They really love it.
"This area is really well used by the village."
Good news! All the earlier road congestion has now cleared.
Heavy traffic being reported in Bridport, chideock and at Puddletown, but it seems to have cleared around monkey's Jump in Dorchester.
The rain can’t dampen spirits at a Littlemoor family fun day.
The Threezome fun day is still continuing and there’s lots of things to see and do.
Head on up to Top Club Field off Louviers Road in Littlemoor before 1pm for face painting, a fire act, juggling, a magician, Merlin the wizard, Portland majorettes and music.
Jan Hinton said: “Even with the weather we have had quite a few people- so come up and join us.”
The rain has however put paid to the bouncy castle and bucking bronco for the moment because of concerns over safety.
However the organisers are confident the skies may clear later.
