WHITE paint was poured over five vehicles in a late night vandalism spree.
An unknown offender or offenders poured the emulsion paint over four cars and a motorbike between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday August 25 along Dundee Road in Weymouth.
No arrests have been made so far and Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward to help them catch the perpetrators.
Police Constable William Taylor, of Weymouth police, said: “Those responsible for this crime have shown a complete disregard for people’s property.
“Fortunately no permanent damage has been caused to the vehicles that were targeted, but nevertheless this has caused great inconvenience to the owners.”
He added: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident take place, or has information about those responsible to contact Dorset Police in confidence as soon as possible.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.
“I would encourage anyone who finds damage to their vehicle to report it to police via the non-emergency number 101 if they have not done so already.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 25:506.
