Joe will be performing a special concert at Wyke Working Men's Club tomorrow with friends and members of the original Crescendoes band line up from 1964, to celebrate the official release of the album.
Director of Weymouth FC Ralph Ricardo said: “Joe has given us the rights to produce and sell a CD of his locally inspired songs and is donating all takings - not just the profits - to Weymouth Football Club.
“We will also be supporting Weldmar and Julias House with the CD sales.”
Mr Hodgkins has been in the music industry for over 50 years, starting his career in Weymouth with The Crescendoes before moving to Germany in 1964 and performing with Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Willy Nelson, and Garth Brooks.
A life-long fan of the Terras, Joe has continued to follow the team during his time all over the world as 'his reminder of home'.
He is urging residents from Weymouth and Portland to buy the album and said: "The first thing is it's helping the football club and local charities Weldmar and Julia's house.
"The songs were written because I love my home town. I've travelled all over the world and there's still nowhere like Weymouth."
The Weymouth Forever album will be available to purchase for £8 through the club or the online shop at www.weymouth-fc.co.uk.
