It's all about the Arvo Vulcan today, making its one and only appearance at this year's festival thanks to some sterling fundraising work.
The Vulcan will also be playing a starring role in what promises to be a truly spectacular heritage flypast.
But there's plenty of high octane action too: the Eurofighter Typhoon kicks off the flying at 12pm, followed by the aerobatics of Gerald Cooper.

The fun continues at the Great Dorset Steam Fair today until 3pm.
The fair, known as the National Heritage Show, is one of the leading events of its type in the world and showcases national industrial and agricultural history in a blend of nostalgia and live entertainment.
Managing director of the fair, Martin Oliver, said the fair has seen a brilliant turn out this year so far and added: “There’s always so much to do here and everyone has said to me they’re having the greatest time.
“The Great Dorset Steam Fair is very family orientated; there’s something for everyone here including fairground rides powered by showmans’ engines, motorbike displays, vintage cars, camping, ale tents, tractor pulling and so much more.
“If you’ve never visited the steam fair before I’d urge you to come and visit.”
More than 100 cars, 250 commercial vehicles, 140 motorcycle exhibits, 100 military machines, 250 vintage tractors and 100 horticultural tractors are on display.
Alongside this, 60 showmens’ engines with their gleaming twisted brass generate the light and power for the fairground old roundabouts and swing-boats.
There are also more than 90 acts performing on six different stages throughout the event.
Signing off for the evening but we'll pick it up in the morning, keeping you up to date with the latest event information, travel and weather.
