A 10 YEAR OLD boy has been injured in a collision between two buses this morning.
The accident happened as two Wilts and Dorset buses passed in opposite directions on a narrow stretch of the A352 near Cerne Abbas at around 8am.
PC Craig Redmond said the two vehicles clipped each other and skidded, resulting in damage to both buses.
The road was closed in both directions between Charminster and Cerne Abbas after police set up a road block.
PC Redmond said two passengers sustained minor injuries although nobody required hospital treatment.
He added that the buses involved were not dedicated school buses, although there were school children on board.
A police spokesman said an ambulance did attend to treat the 10-year-old boy for a minor injury to his head.
The road was reopened at around 10.30am.
