UPDATED: Firefighters attend A31 collision near Bere Regis

FIREFIGHTERS helped remove the roof of a vehicle following a two car collision on the A31.
The occupants of the other car, a black Peugeot 207 Sportium registered to a woman from Poole, did not require hospital treatment, police said.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service were called by police at 10.46am and attended the scene on the A31 Bere Regis westbound between Marsh Lane and the A35.
While on scene crews assisted an ambulance by removing the roof of one of the vehicles which enabled the passenger to get out easier.
The road was closed between the Shell roundabout near Bere Regis and the A31 junction at Winterborne Whitechurch until 12.10pm.
Crews finished at the scene by midday.
Motorists face slow traffic on the A31 westbound in Bere Regis between Red Post crossroads and Shell roundabout due to the collision.
