Friends' moving tributes to tragic Dorchester teenager
IT’S BEEN a month since 17-year-old Kieron Clewett from Dorchester tragically passed away- but for his friends it doesn’t get any easier.
The Thomas Hardye student was not only a talented boxer dubbed ‘King Clewett’, but an incredible friend.
Those close to Kieron wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to show how much he was loved and how much he will be missed.
FRIENDS spoke fondly of their friend as they paid tribute to his sense of humour and kind nature.
Charlie Fox told of how Kieron’s ‘cheeky grin and charming ways’ will stay in the hearts of his friends ‘foverer’.
She said: “Kieron was loved by so many, and it is so devastating that he has been taken from us.
“He was unlike any other, so caring, kind, funny and generous and he really had a heart of gold.
“There’s not a day that will pass where I don’t think of him because his smile could light up an entire room and he had an amazing energy about him that could be felt by everyone.
“He had an amazingly kind nature, even towards animals - like the time we rescued a baby lamb together.
“I remember how determined he was to help it even though we were in the middle of the woods at night, both absolutely terrified.
“He loved to laugh, dance and have fun and I will miss all the boogies and exciting times we shared together, as for now there can be no more.
“He was a truly special person who would go out of his way for anyone.”
Flo Kosky said: “A day hasn’t gone by in the past few weeks when Kieron hasn't been on my mind.
“He was one of the kindest people that I've ever known and was always the one who stepped up and stood up for people, myself included.
“He had the most brilliant smile and never failed to make me laugh. We all miss Kieron so much already and he will always be in our hearts.”
Kieron had just completed Year 12 at Thomas Hardye School and was a member of Dorchester & District Amateur Boxing Club, winning numerous awards in the ring.
He was also known by his nickname, Cunren.
Just after Kieron’s passing his friends gathered at Maumbury Rings to release lanterns in his memory.
Livi Purnell said: “It’s fair to say that we have felt a great loss with the devastating passing of Kieron.
“But everyone who knew him is able to reminisce in the fun memories they have.
“I will always remember Cunren as a cheeky, fun loving lad who had a heart of gold and always seemed to get away with everything.
“We will meet again one day on the other side- no doubt he'll be up to no good as per.”
“From me and everyone Kieron, rest in peace - a boy that I will always remember had a smile on his face.”

Kieron man, you were one of my best mates and I knew you would be there to back me up in any fight just because you were that kind of boy who wasn't scared of any one!! I will always remember you for your creativity as this could differ from creative new slang words such as "stunch" and "toddle pip Nigel Wintercoon" to your extravagant ideas and plans which were never plausible but you never failed to prove me wrong, as when he had his mind set on something he never stop trying till he succeeded which is one the massive reason why he was so amazing and funny. You truly were the king of Dorchester and by how many came to your send off I know you will be hugely missed not by just me but by everyone who knew the name Kieron Clewitt as you such a friend and laugh to be around.
