A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital with a broken ankle from a Dorset beauty spot.
Coastguards and paramedics were called to Durdle Door yesterday afternoon after a woman had fallen and broken her ankle.
She was airlifted to hospital by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Portland Coastguard was called after an 18-foot motorboat got a flat battery near the Arne Peninsula.
Poole RNLI lifeboat was sent out yesterday afternoon and towed the vessel Talia Jade, with two people onboard, back to its moorings on the Wareham River.
Coastguards received a report of a yacht that had ran aground on Shelley beach at Exmouth.
The owner was found to be safe and well and will arrange for the boat to be recovered.
