POLICE were called after a car drove into a hedge.
The silver Volvo veered into a hedge which stands on the corner of Shirecroft Road in Weymouth this morning, and Dorset Police were called to the scene at 11.59am. They remained on scene to recover the vehicle.
A policeman at the scene said: “We do not suspect any alcohol was involved and there are no injuries following the incident.
“We are simply waiting for a recovery vehicle now that will remove the car from the scene.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson added: “We were called to a report of a silver Volvo that went off the road, clipped a wing mirror and went into a hedge.
“The Volvo was being driven by a male motorist but he sustained no injuries.
“An ambulance was called to the scene but then cancelled because it was not needed.”
