People and places theme to literary festival
12:00pm Saturday 28th September 2013 in News
The Fourth Charmouth Literary Festival takes place on Saturday, October 5.
The theme this year is People and Places and is inspired by the presenters who come from varied writing backgrounds.
The festival has been building over the past four years and we always include local writers.
There will be audience participation for those who want to do some writing on the day and this year, as well as going out to be inspired with your writing, you can stand on your soap box during the lunch hour and read out a piece of your own work or something that appeals to you.
For those who enjoy reading books and want to know more about the people behind them we have a variety of topics: biography, travel writing, poetry, ebooks, getting published, play writing and short story writing.
This one day event, which runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm is free entry.
