PORTLAND COASTGUARD assisted a stricken yacht and some swimmers this afternoon.
Increased wind conditions saw coastguards assisting in a couple of operations.
Concerns were raised for swimmers at Greenhill after a bystander reporter some kitesurfers close in to shore.
But the swimmers got out of the water and were found to be fine.
Coastguards then sent Swanage lifeboat to assist a yacht that was having difficulty mooring in Swanage due to the high winds.
The boat also lost its tender and the lifeboat helped to get it back.
The crew then decided to make for Poole and the lifeboat kept them under observation while they made it round the headland.
