Two motorists injured in A35 collision
TWO motorists have been injured after a collision on the A35 in Chideock.
Dorset Police were alerted to the collision at 9.35am this morning.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: “We received a report of a collision between a recycling van and a truck which took place shortly before 9.30am this morning.
“The collision involved a white Iveco recycling van and an orange DAF truck, and it is believed the DAF truck struck the back Iveco recycling van.
“An ambulance has been called to the scene. One driver has reported suffering from neck pain and another driver has reported an injured leg.
“We do not believe the injuries to be serious.”
As a result of the collision, the A35 Main Street in Chideock was partially blocked and motorists faced slow traffic close to the Duck Street junction.
