MIDDLESBROUGH’S Newham Grange Country Farm is hosting a string of spooky walks as part of the town’s Halloween events programme.

Five Spooky Farm Walks will take place at the Coulby Newham farm on Wednesday, October 30.

The farm will open at 5.30pm with the first of the walks at 6pm and the last at 7.20pm.

Tickets, available from the farm, are priced £3 for adults and children and will include other Halloween activities. Refreshments are also available.

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE: Normanby Local History Group has organised an act of Remembrance to be led by the Reverend Huw Sperring at the Normanby War Memorial. This short service is to commemorate brave Normanby service men who lost their lives in the Second World War. The service will be held on Monday, November 11 at 11am at the War Memorial on the corner of West Street and the High Street. People wishing to attend are asked to assemble at 10.50am. Refreshments will be available at the Methodist Church on Cleveland Street following the service.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE: A Christmas Fayre will be held at St Paul’s Newtown Church, Bishopton Road, Stockton, on Saturday, November 2 between 11am to 2pm. There will be a number of different stalls and light lunches will also be available. All are welcome.
