Invite to carols on the green by St George's Church in Fordington, Dorchester
CAROLS will be sounding out from Fordington Green on Friday evening.
The Carols on the Green event organised by St George’s Church runs from 6pm to 7pm.
After the singing, people will be invited inside the church for the opening of its popular annual Christmas Tree Festival.
The trees will be on show from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, 11am to 7pm on Saturday, noon to 4pm on Sunday, from noon to 6pm on Monday, December 9 and from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, December 10.
The Christmas Tree Festival is in its fifth year and has grown in popularity with each year. Entry to the festival is free with donations being taken. Local community groups have decorated the trees.
