EMERGENCY services were called to two collisions involving tractors.
The first on the outskirts of Dorchester yesterday saw a tractor towing a trailer overturn.
Dorset Fire and Rescue alerted Dorset Police to the incident at 9.25am.
The green and yellow John Deere tractor, registered to a Dorchester company, overturned close to the Weir Roundabout on the B3147. The road, which leads to the A37 from The Grove in Dorchester town centre, was closed for a while. The vehicle was lifted at 10.08am and the road was reopened.
In another incident yesterday, a tractor and car were in collision on the B3157 Weymouth to Bridport coast road near GP Metals & Spares, Portesham.
Police said the tractor had been pulled off the road but the car, a VW Golf registered to a Dorchester man, was left partially blocking the road for a time. The road was clear by 2.25pm.
A force spokesman said someone had suffered a slight injury.
