PASSENGERS faced delays earlier today at Bournemouth Airport due to technical problems which has affected flights across the country.
National Air Traffic Services (Nats) said the issue stemmed from its control centre in Swanwick, Hampshire.
Bournemouth experienced delays this morning with both incoming and departing flights but services this afternoon were running to schedule.
The problem has caused chaos at airports around the UK and Ireland.
Thousands of people have been affected at major airports including Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick.
Nats said the issue, which has led to flight delays and cancellations, was unlikely to be fixed until between 6.30pm and 7pm.
