STAFF and students from the Thomas Hardye School will need a head for heights as they take on a fundraising challenge in Weymouth.
On Saturday, January 4 teachers Mal Hignett and Dr Georgie Collington will be joining a group of students, pictured, to repeatedly climb the 33-metre-tall mast of TS Pelican.
They will attempt to clock up the equivalent height of Ben Nevis, 1,340m, between them.
The tall ship, anchored in Weymouth harbour near the ferry bookings office, will also be open to the public.
Funds raised on the day will go towards the £26,000 students need to raise for a tall ship voyage next year. For more details visit https://frog.thomas-hardye.dorset.sch.uk/frogos/app/os?site=a5c514606f573ab7669937200efca955
