DT1: Age UK Dorchester in appeal for helpers
AGE UK Dorchester is seeking volunteers to join its information and advice team.
Volunteers will help to provide information and advice to older people and their carers from 12.30pm to 4pm on Wednesdays or 9am to 12.30pm on Thursdays, or both.
They will be responsible for interviewing clients, identifying and researching information, acting on clients’ behalf and letter writing.
The ideal person would be someone with time to give and who enjoys volunteering and has basic computer skills.
