MEMBERS of the public are encouraged to attend one of two public meetings on the Weymouth Business Improvement District (BID) which are being held tomorrow. The meetings are at the Ocean Room, Weymouth Pavilion at 4pm and 6pm. Nigel Reed, manager of the Weymouth BID, said: “The purpose of these meetings will be to present our plans for 2014 and for levy payers to meet the board of directors plus newly appointed joint chairman Alistair Clarke.

“We will also be hosting a questions and answers session at the end of each meeting.

“It’s very important that we share information and engage with local businesses in the levy payment area. Good progress has been made in the first four months since the launch of the Weymouth BID in September 2013, but there is still a lot to do.”
