The Centre of Excellence for Industrial Liaison (CEIL) pioneered at Budmouth College in Weymouth is now running at three other schools with a fourth on its way.
Paul Holman, vice principal at Bournemouth’s Bishop of Winchester Academy – the first school to adopt the business unit idea for students – said: “The CEIL prepares school leavers aged 16-19 to be able to effectively compete in their aspirations in business and industry.”
