A TEAM of intrepid charity trekkers bidding to scale Africa’s tallest peak have embarked on their journey.
The team of 13 are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, to raise funds for the Steve Charles Help a Friend Fund.
The charity was set up in memory of Dorchester musician Steve Charles to raise money for seriously ill people in need of urgent treatment.
They arrived in Tanzania at the end of last week and set off on the climb on Monday.
To keep up with their efforts and for information on how to sponsor the climbers check out their blog at helpafriendfund.blogspot.co.uk
