RAIL passengers heading to and from London are facing delays due to signalling problems up the line and a fallen tree.

Trains on the Weymouth-Waterloo line are being delayed by up to 30 minutes due to a signalling problem around Beaulieu Road station between Brockenhurst and Southampton.

A second signalling problem affecting Southampton Central station blocked all lines in the area. This problem has now been rectified but South West Trains said it is delaying services by up to an hour.

Weymouth-Waterloo trains are making additional stops at stations.

A further problem is now adding to the disruption. A fallen tree has blocked the line between New Milton and Sway in Hampshire.
