Police in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses after a fail to stop road traffic collision in the town.

At approximately 8.40am on January 14, an incident occurred between a black Hyundai car and a white lorry on Radipole Park Drive.

The wing mirror and driver’s side window of the Hyundai was smashed as a result of the collision.

The driver of the lorry failed to stop at the scene. It is described as a white-cabbed vehicle and had a cage on the rear.

Police Constable Andy Dickinson, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police urgently.

“I also urge the driver involved in this collision to do the right thing and speak with the police.

“All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
