A TRIUMPHANT team of charity climbers who scaled Africa’s highest peak are planning a celebration in Dorchester.

The team of 13 musicians and friends reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro as they raised funds for the Steve Charles Help a Friend Fund, which raises money for seriously ill people who are in need of treatment.

Some of the climbers are now heading home while others are taking the chance to explore more of Africa.

The team will then be reunited for a celebration at Durnovaria Wine Bar in South Street on Friday, January 31.
