DORSET charity the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust is inviting people to take on a charity challenge of a lifetime.

A free information evening is being held at the Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester ahead of the charity’s Icelandic Trek Challenge in October this year.

The event starts at 6.30pm tomorrow and will give people a chance to find out all about the exciting challenge.

Trekkers will experience deep canyons, icy glaciers and enormous lava fields in the stunning Icelandic landscape and maybe see the Northern Lights. After the five-day trek there will be a free day in the capital Reykjavik.

There will be a chance to register on the night, with a maximum of 25 spaces.
