COMPTON Valence is once again inviting visitors to come along to see the beautiful display of snowdrops in the village.
Do come along between Tuesday February 4 and Friday February 14 to either walk or drive through the village and then enjoy lunch or tea in the village hall from 10.30am to 3.30pm daily.
If possible please ring Pippa James (01305 889338) or Tessa Russell (01308 482227) to book a lunch, as this will make catering much easier. The hall is small, so pre-booked guests will take priority.

ARTSREACH presents Alison Neil as The Fossil Lady of Lyme at 7.30pm on Wednesday February 27 in Melbury Osmond Village Hall.
This is a welcome return of Alison, whose most recent production here was Hildegard of Bingen. This story is about Mary Anning, who discovered the first complete fossil of a prehistoric reptile in Great Britain. Her struggle to make her mark and put food on the table is both moving and amusing.
Tickets cost £8 for adults, £6 for under 18’s and £25 for a family. There will be a bar during the evening.
SAVILL Hall, Cattistock, has recently upgraded its cooking equipment and now has commercial cooking facilities available for those who need them.
