A MEETING this week to discuss parking proposals in Weymouth has been cancelled.
The question and answer session hosted by Weymouth and Portland Borough Council was due to take place at the Pavilion Ocean Room on Thursday evening.
The meeting has had to be cancelled due to family illness.
Councillor Christine James said it will be rearranged but the new date has yet to be decided.
The borough council has come up with a number of measures for its parking revolution to make the area more attractive, boost the economy and utilise existing parking stock.
Among the measures is removing one hour free parking spaces along Custom House Quay and creating an alfresco dining area.
People will have a chance to make their views known on this when a traffic regulation order is published advertising the proposal.
Pay and display charges in council car parks are also coming down as part of the measures.
