THIEVES stole ‘thousands of pounds worth’ of musical instruments in a raid on a Dorchester store.
Police were alerted to the burglary at Harmony Music in Dorchester early on Saturday morning, following a call from neighbouring shop staff.
The glass door of the property was smashed and there was a ‘trail of glass’ into the shop.
James Barwick, managing director, of Harmony Music, said the front door had the glass smashed and the intruders managed to get through the alarm, before making off with ‘thousands of pounds worth of various musical instruments.’
Dorset Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 01-117.
