AN inquest into the death of a 78-year-old cyclist killed in a collision near Bovington was opened today.
James Edwards, of Old Furzebrook Road, Wareham was cycling near Clouds Hill on Wednesday, January 29 when he was in collision with a Mitsubishi 4x4.
He was knocked from his bike and died at the scene, Bournemouth Coroner’s Court heard. A post-mortem was carried out, which gave the cause of death as a head injury.
The inquest was adjourned until May 22.
