FRAMPTON Footlights presents Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, a pantomime by Peter Denyer.

The venue is Frampton Village Hall and the dates are Thursday February 20, Friday February 21 and Saturday February 22. As well as evening performances on each day, there will be a matinee on the Saturday. Tickets cost £5 for the Thursday, £6 for the Friday and £7 for the Saturday. Adults will pay £5 for the Saturday matinee, while children under 16 will pay just £2.50.

All are welcome to come along to chat with their fellow villagers over a cup of coffee.

MAIDEN Newton Allotments Potato Day will take place in the village hall between 10.30am and 1.30pm on Saturday, February 22.

Entry is free and there will be refreshments available.

There will be over 80 varieties of potato for sale by the single tuber, as well as onion sets, shallots, heritage seeds, fruit trees, kitchen garden plants and much more. All you need to kick start your gardening season!

’VILLAGE Praise’ are regular informal meetings across the Melbury and Wriggle Valley benefices. It is a time to enjoy reflective worship with songs and brief, but thoughtful, teaching.

The next meeting will be held at 5pm on Sunday, February 23 at St Andrew’s School, Stonyacres, Yetminster DT9 6LF Just turn up - there will be drinks and eats to start.
