Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who has been missing for more than three weeks.

Matthew Lomas, aged 23, was last seen at approximately 1pm on Tuesday January 14 when he left his address along Maiden Castle Road on foot.

Police Constable David Williams, of Dorchester police, said: "I understand that Matthew’s family are becoming increasingly concerned because they haven’t seen him for almost a month.

“Matthew needs to take medication regularly and it is believed he has not taken any with him.

“His family are also concerned as he may become easily confused.

“Matthew may have a black mountain bike with him.

"I am appealing for anyone with any information about Matthew’s whereabouts to get in touch as soon as possible."

Matthew is white, five feet four inches tall and of a medium build. He wears glasses.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a black cardigan which is woolly on the outside and quilted of the inside and smart blue jeans. He was also wearing a flat cap.

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Matthew's whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 14:381.
