- The meeting is at 7pm at All Saints Church at Easton – the same venue for a public meeting about the precept last month which saw angry scenes and calls for councillors to resign over the controversial decision
- Tonight’s meeting was due to take place last Wednesday but had to be postponed due to the island being battered by severe weather

- Proposals on the table are for an increase of 2 per cent or an increase of 42 per cent
- A petition containing more than 3,000 names urging councillors to set a ‘fair’ precept will also be handed over at the meeting
