Royal Navy worker airlifted from ship following back injury
AN INJURED crewman was airlifted off a Royal Navy ship by the Coastguard helicopter following a back injury.
Portland coastguard were alerted to the incident on the ship in Weymouth Bay shortly after 6pm last night.
The man was airlifted to Portland where he was then cared for by South West Ambulance.
