YOUNGSTERS from a Dorchester school visited a local care home to join in their Valentine’s Day celebrations.
A group of Year Four pupils from Sunninghill Preparatory School dropped in to visit residents of Maiden Castle House in the county town.
They enjoyed games, heart-themed arts and crafts activities and decorated cakes and biscuits as part of the day’s celebrations.
There was also music and a raffle with heart-shaped balloons as prizes for the residents and chocolates for the children.
Manager of the Care South home Dawn Palmer said: “The residents really enjoy the visits from the children, they always find so much to talk about.”
