AUCTIONEERS Duke’s have made another commitment to the town.
After new plans were unveiled for the auctioneers to create a new state of the art facility at Pullman Court, adjacent to the Brewery Square development, councillors have also approved an extension on the lease of its existing premises in Dorchester Market.
West Dorset District Council’s executive committee agreed to extend Duke’s lease on the Cornmarket for another 20 years at the existing rate, provided it carries out repair works on the premises.
Duke’s is one of Dorset’s oldest businesses, having operated since 1823, and also has its Grove Saleroom at the Grove Trading Estate.
