Coastguard round-up: Red flare found at Chesil Beach
A RED smoke flare found on Chesil Beach caused concern for coastguards.
Portland coastguard were called shortly before 5pm yesterday to reports of the flare at Ferrybridge, Wyke Regis.
Coastguard rescue officers located and safely contained the flare until safe disposal could be arranged.
