The Dorchester Market Car Boot Fund is now open for charities and community groups in and around the town.
Grants ranging from £50 to £3,000 are available for projects operating within or supporting residents living within a 6.67 mile radius of Dorchester.
The fund is generated by Sunday car boot sales held by the Dorchester Markets Joint Panel.
The panel, which is comprised of members of West Dorset District Council and Dorchester Town Council, distributes the fund on an annual basis.
Chair of The Dorchester Markets Joint Panel and West Dorset District Councillor, Mary Penfold said: “The grant is easy to apply for and organisations are free to ring if they need any help or support.”
The closing date for applications is Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
