MAGIC was the theme of the day as pupils from the Wyvern Academy received a visit from a theatre company.
M&M Theatrical Productions visited the Wyvern Academy School in Weymouth to perform their production of Aladdin.
Wyvern Academy is a specialist school for cognition and learning accredited by the National Autistic Society.
The school provides highly individualised education for almost 100 pupils aged two to 19 years with complex learning difficulties.
Kelly Stinton, head of primary at Wyvern, said: “The children were thrilled by the story of Aladdin and his best friend, the mischievous yet loveable monkey Abu.
“A wonderful lamp that grants wishes and journeys on a flying carpet certainly injected some magic into our school day.
“The children responded very enthusiastically to the story, and really got into the spirit of the event.”
M&M Theatrical Productions is the UK’s largest touring theatre company providing theatre-in-education and children’s pantomime.
