A YOUNG Weymouth woman reported missing in India has been in contact with her family.
Matilda Vine, aged 24, was last heard from 10 days ago when she was in Hampi, Karnataka State.
The Foreign Office launched enquiries to find the youth worker and her travel companion Tim Hodgson.
But this afternoon Matilda has been in touch with her family to say she is safe and well- and said 'sporadic internet' was to blame for her apparent disappearance.
Dad Mark Vine said hearing from his daughter was 'the best feeling in the world.'
He thanked everybody who had been involved in the search and those who had shared Matilda's details on the internet.
