Firefighters alerted to lorry fire
FIREFIGHTERS were alerted to a lorry fire on the A35 near Dorchester.
Two fire crews from Dorchester were called shortly before 1pm this afternoon to the incident between the Monkey’s Jump roundabout and the football ground roundabout.
A spokesperson for the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted to a lorry with a fire in the engine compartment.
“The fire was out on arrival and therefore no further action was needed.”
